Terms and Conditions

HM Designs Ltd. (trading as the Copyshop) terms and conditions
Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before placing any order as they are the legal basis for all and any work that HM Designs Ltd. (HMD) may do for you.
Any order placed with HMD forms a legally binding contract between “you” the customer and HMD and is subject to the terms and conditions set out below.

By placing an order with HMD you confirm that you hold and or have obtained all necessary legal permissions for the work you have requested where appropriate.
HMD may ask for copies of such permissions before commencing any work. HMD will not accept any liability for infringement of copyright or any other legal rights in relation to work requested by customers.

If loss or damage occurs as a result of working on items the customer providing such items will indemnify HMD against all resultant loss or damage including infringement of copyright, trademarks or other intellectual property rights. While HMD will take all reasonable care to prevent loss of or damage to customers property whilst in HMD’s care, customers should ensure that such property is adequately insured for such purposes.

Payment can be made by cash, Bank Transfer or cheques and Postal Orders made payable HM Designs Ltd.

Payment is due within 30 days of invoice date and goods will remain the property of HMD until full payment has been received. Late payment may result in suspension of account facilities, for example future orders will only accepted if paid for in cash on collection.
HMD reserves the right to charge interest on all overdue amounts as per the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.

While HMD will make every effort to meet customer requirements, it is the customer’s responsibility to ensure all goods and services supplied are of satisfactory quality within a reasonable period – 14 days in this instance.
HMD will not accept any liability for any loss or damage suffered by a customer related to goods or services supplied where the customer has had a reasonable opportunity to check their quality.
Where customers discover a defect within 14 days of taking delivery they should return all goods supplied by HMD and, on their safe return, will receive a complete refund of all monies paid, excluding postage.
After this period any refund will be at the discretion of HMD.
HMD will not accept any liability for loss of or damage to goods during laminating or encapsulation.

If HMD receives any material from customers that it considers to be offensive or connected with any form of illegal activity it will inform the appropriate authorities who may require it to be handed over together with all related information. HMD will not provide any personal information supplied by you to any third party unless required to do so by a legal authority.
Any information sent by you by any means will be held in the strictest confidence unless required to be made available to a legal authority.

HMD reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at anytime.

U.K. law is the applicable law for all matters involving HMD. Your statutory rights are not affected.
